Overview
Patient tags allow you to track and manage additional details about patients outside of their charts. These tags are visible only to staff, making them ideal for internal use, such as noting room preferences or other non-medical details.
Key Features of Patient Tags
Creating Tags:
Click the blue button to create a new tag.
Assign a name, choose a color, and save.
Tag Indicators on Schedule:
Blue Tag: Indicates the patient has tags assigned.
Gray Tag: Indicates no tags are assigned.
Hovering over tags shows their details.
Editable Tags:
Click on a tag to edit or add multiple tags.
Internal reference notes can be added for further detail.
Confidentiality and Visibility:
Tags are not shown to patients.
Visible to staff during scheduling, appointment details, and payment processing.
Optional: Disable tag visibility in appointment details or payment screens.
Additional Integration:
Tags can be displayed on the home screen by hovering over patient names.
Tags are included when printing the schedule.
Best Practices
Use tags for non-medical cues, like room preferences or specific needs (e.g., a larger table for comfort).
Review tag settings to ensure sensitive information is displayed appropriately.
Utilize internal reference notes for detailed, confidential reminders.
