SOAP notes are fully customizable to suit your practice’s needs. With tools for creating, editing, and organizing indexes, templates, and patient-specific notes, you can streamline your workflow. The built-in AI Scribe enhances note-taking efficiency by auto-filling fields with dictated information.

Steps to Customize Your SOAP Notes

  • Access SOAP Note Settings

    • Navigate to Settings > Notes to find three main sections:

      • Practitioner Notes

      • Patient Health Forms

      • Custom Indexes (building blocks for notes and forms).

  • Customize Practitioner Notes

    • Edit, preview, or deactivate existing notes.

    • Add new templates by clicking the Add Practitioner Note button.

    • Use the side tray to adjust indexes within your notes, such as:

      • Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan.

      • Custom indexes like Medications or Lifestyle Habits.

  • Reorganize and Tailor Notes

    • Rearrange indexes within their category to match your workflow.

    • Add or remove indexes (e.g., specific health concerns or gender-specific sections).

    • Expand or collapse sections by default for easier navigation.

  • Utilize AI Scribe

    • Dictate freeform notes, and the AI auto-fills relevant fields across indexes.

    • Quickly toggle between expanded and collapsed views for clarity.

  • Patient-Specific Adjustments

    • Add or modify indexes for individual patient notes during consultations.

    • Remove unnecessary sections for cleaner, patient-specific documentation.

  • Preview and Finalize

    • Preview notes with expanded or collapsed views.

    • Save or print notes for patient files or future reference.
