The acupuncture points settings page offers a comprehensive database of acupuncture points, including preconfigured protocols and the ability to customize treatments. With features like favorites, point prescriptions, and on-the-fly additions, you can streamline documentation and patient care.


Key Features of Acupuncture Points Settings

  • Comprehensive Point Database:

    • Includes all major point groups (e.g., lung, large intestine, stomach, spleen).

    • Extra points, Master Tung points, auricular points, and more are available.

  • Favorite Points:

    • Star frequently used points (e.g., LUNG5, LI4, LI11) for quick access.

    • Access favorites directly from patient charts.

  • Point Protocols:

    • Preloaded with CAM protocols and Dr. East's facial rejuvenation protocols.

    • Search by keywords (e.g., "brow" or "low back pain") to find relevant protocols.

    • Create custom point prescriptions for specific cases (e.g., motor vehicle accidents).

  • On-the-Fly Additions:

    • Freestyle entry allows quick additions (e.g., LI4, SP6, DU20).

    • Hover over points to see locations for guidance.


Charting Acupuncture Points
