    • Patients are notified of open slots via email and text.

    • Balance due reminders can be sent manually.

  • Follow-Up Notifications:

    • Sent 90 minutes after an appointment ends (if enabled).

    • Useful for gathering feedback or directing patients to review sites.

  • Custom Messages:

    • Add personalized text to appointment reminders, such as preparation instructions or cancellation policies.

    • Options include bold text, bullet points, and links.

Customization Options

  • Configure Reminders:

    • Choose when to send first and second reminders (e.g., three days prior and 24 hours before).

    • Text reminders can also be adjusted for time, such as two hours before appointments.

  • Edit Notification Content:

    • Use formatting tools (headers, red text) to highlight critical details.

    • Include links to videos or instructional materials for convenience.

  • Review and Adjust Notifications:

    • Preview notifications to ensure accuracy.

    • Patients can easily update preferences without logging in.

Best Practices

  • Enable Notifications: Turn on notifications by default for new patient charts to ensure communication consistency.

  • Limit Follow-Ups if Necessary: Disable follow-up emails for patients who had negative experiences.

  • Avoid Overloading: Balance reminders to avoid overwhelming patients while ensuring critical updates are sent.
