Overview

Office policies are essential for every practice, and AcuBliss allows you to create, edit, and manage these policies within the patient portal. The system helps you collect patient signatures, ensuring all legal and procedural guidelines are met.

Steps to Create Office Policies:

  • Navigate to Settings > Practice > Policies and click Edit work-in-progress policy

    under the “Financial Policy” section.

  • Answer important questions about your practice, such as cancellation policies, fees for missed appointments, and more.

  • If you have existing policies, simply copy and paste them into the relevant sections. Save your work-in-progress.

Finalizing and Managing Policies:

  • Once complete, create your first set of policies or update your existing one, which will be available for patients to sign in the portal.

  • Any changes made in the future will notify patients, requiring them to sign the updated version.

  • AcuBliss reminds patients to sign the policies annually, and signed versions are printable through the demographics page.
