Overview
Coupon codes provide an easy way to offer discounts on services and products. Patients can use these codes online via the patient portal or redeem them in person. With flexible settings, you can control their usage, expiration, and applicable services or products.
Creating and Managing Coupon Codes
Access Coupon Codes:
Go to Settings > Billing > Coupon Codes.
Click the blue Add Coupon Code button.
Set Up the Coupon Code:
Code: Enter a unique code (e.g., "2024THANKYOU").
Discount Percentage: Define the discount percentage (e.g., 20%).
Expiration Date: Set when the coupon will expire.
Applicable Services or Products: Choose specific services/products or select all.
Usage Options:
Single Use: Restrict to a single service/package.
Multiple Uses: Allow repeated use until expiration (default).
Products: Decide if the code applies to products.
Deactivating Codes:
Deactivate codes anytime to prevent further usage.
Redeeming Coupon Codes
From the Patient Portal:
Patients enter the code at checkout to adjust their balance.
They proceed with payment using their credit card.
From the Invoice Page:
Enter the coupon code during payment processing.
Apply the code to update the total balance before completing the transaction.
Sharing Coupon Codes
Use the MailChimp integration to email patients about new coupon codes.
Customize messages to include code details and expiration dates for promotions.
