Overview

This article walks you through how to update your practice details, customize your branding for patient-facing documents, and set up helpful tools like the QR code for self-check-in. These settings help ensure your schedule, invoices, and patient communications are accurate and on-brand.

Practice Settings & Calendar Format

  • Start calendar on Sunday or Monday

Choose how the mini calendar appears in your schedule view (Sunday or Monday start).

Go to: Settings > General > Practice Information

  • Change Practice Name, Email, and Website

If your clinic name changes or you incorporate, update your name here. You can also add your contact email, website, and upload a logo.

Invoice, Superbill & Document Branding

Customize the header and footer content for your clinic documents:

  • Header: Add a tagline like “Treating your most important health concerns.”

  • Footer:

    • Line 1 (Bold): Ideal for your website or practice slogan.

    • Line 2: Email, phone number, clinic address, etc.

Click the “Copy” button to auto-fill your info, then adjust as needed.

You can preview a sample document showing your logo, tagline, and footer before saving.

QR Code for Patient Self Check-In

This tool is excellent for solo or front-desk-light practices:

  • Print a QR code with your logo and welcome message.

  • Patients scan it to check themselves in.

  • Optionally, auto-charge the patient for their scheduled service (note: it does not collect payment—only applies the charge to their record).

Customize the displayed message to match your policies, especially for insurance-based practices where pre-charging may not apply.

Initial Setup Wizard

If you already completed the 6-step setup wizard, no need to redo it. It covers:

  1. Number of rooms

  2. Sales tax

  3. Services

  4. Offices

  5. Staff

  6. Scheduling basics

Afterward, all updates should be made through their respective pages: Services, Offices, Schedule, etc.
