Steps to Delete Voided Invoices

  • Access the Invoice

    • Navigate to the desired Invoice.

  • Discard Charges

    • Use the Discard Charges button to remove both the charges and the invoice.

    • If the button is available, clicking it will delete the charges and the invoice.

  • Troubleshooting Faded Button

    • If the Discard Charges button is faded, the invoice cannot be deleted. This could be due to:

      • Services or Products: Charges include services or products.

      • Refunds: Charges have been refunded.

      • Payments Applied: Charges have associated payments.

Making the Invoice Eligible for Deletion

  • Void all services or products in the charges or remove them.

  • Void any payments or refunds applied to the charges.

Retry

Once the above steps are completed, return to the invoice and use then Discard Charges button again.

Key Points

  • Button Status: Faded means the invoice cannot currently be discarded.

  • Void Services or Payments: Resolve associated services, products, refunds, or payments before attempting to delete.

  • Permanent Deletion: Ensure all necessary voids or removals are completed to delete both charges and invoices.
