Overview

Notifications and tasks help you stay on top of practice activity and assignments. From the bell icon, access practice, staff, and patient notifications, and manage tasks through assignments, filters, and priorities. This guide outlines how to navigate and optimize these features.

Details

Notifications Overview

  • Accessing Notifications: Notifications are accessible via the bell icon in the top-right corner. These display updates on all practice activities.

  • Types of Notifications:

    • Practice Notifications: General updates about the practice.

    • Staff Notifications: Tasks or notes assigned to staff members.

    • Patient Notifications: Updates related to patient interactions.

Managing Notifications

  • Unread vs. Read Notifications:

    • Unread notifications are visible; once read, they are archived.

    • You can toggle visibility using filters or reset filters to default.

  • Filters:

    • Use the “Show Filters” option to refine notifications (e.g., completed forms, cancellations, policy updates).

    • Search by patient name to view relevant notes or tasks.

  • Mark All as Read: Quickly clear notifications by marking all as read.

Tasks Overview

  • Creating Tasks: Tasks can be created for general staff or specific individuals. Assign due dates to integrate tasks into the calendar.

  • Features:

    • Priority: Star tasks to mark them as important.

    • Conversations: Engage in task-related discussions within the task view.

  • Examples:

    • Assigning “Order herbs for the clinic” to a specific staff member.

    • Noting tasks for external office work or scheduling-related assignments.

Managing Tasks

  • View tasks in the calendar if due dates are assigned.

  • Tasks without due dates remain in the general task list.
