Waiting List

The waiting list is a great feature to keep your schedule busy, and if you’d like to enable yours, go to Settings>Calendar>Control center>Edit practice-wide options and select “yes” to “Allow waiting list for appointments.”





You can put a patient on the waiting list by clicking on the “waiting” section at the top of the schedule on a particular day





and seeing that the “time” selection is set to “waiting list.”




You can also drag an appointment into the waiting list and also drag an appointment out of the waiting list and onto the schedule, and you can also drag an appointment from the clipboard into the waiting list for any day you desire. 


Patients might have a specific time preference when they are available and you can make note of any time window here





Patients will also be able to put themselves on the waiting list for a given day as well, and you may want to encourage that they do this to give you options for keeping your schedule full should you get a cancellation. On the patient portal, they too can inform the office what time windows they are available on a given day
