In order for patients to be scheduled, tell the calendar when you and your staff are “available” by clicking on the “Availability” button and then the day you are working in your clinic.
While some practitioners will show themselves available for the entire day (say 9-5), others may want to give themselves a break by creating two “availability blocks,” one from 9-12 and one from 1-5, for example. You can drag these availability blocks around, extend or delete them. If you wanted to extend your workday, just extend your availability. If you wanted to take the day off, just delete the single availability block.
You can see which staff are “available” by looking at the color of the shading on the calendar when in the “appointment” creation mode.
