Making an appointment for New Patients

New Patients and existing patients using your new software often enter through the schedule and can also be added here




Click on the calendar where you see the shaded “availability” blocks and enter in the patient details.

Additionally, you can do so by hitting the green + button or drop down “Add Appointment” button.

Notice how after completing all of the fields including first and last name, date of birth, phone number and email, a checkbox appears to email the patient a “registration link” that will allow them to gain access to the patient portal and book appointments online.



At this time, the patients may give you permission to receive email and text notifications and if so, you can configure them here .

Click “Add new patient” and then you’ll be able to select which practitioner, office, service, date and time of their appointment.

Finish by saving their appointment. 

If you prefer to "search" for upcoming available times on the schedule, you can select the "Find Open Spaces" checkbox after selecting the practitioner, office and service. It's a handy feature if you've got a busy schedule!
