Most medical providers offices have their Stripe account configured so they may take HSA/FSA cards. They don’t have to do anything, Stripe just automatically recognizes the business and provider as a medical provider and Stripe, like all credit card point of sale systems gives you that privilege. 

If you are having any issue charging those types of cards, it’s easy to reach out to Stripe and seek approval. It doesn’t take long. If you'd like to contact Stripe, simply log in to your Stripe account and go here and click on the link to "reach out to Stripe". You can access the Stripe Dashboard login from the Settings>Billing>Miscellaneous Billing page. There’s a link to log in there. 

Like all credit card point of sale companies, they have the ability to approve or deny, but it’s an easy thing to submit your medical license (for example) and they’ll just approve it. 

Note: We have heard through Acupuncturists that MCC code they have often used is 8099 - "Medical Services and Health Practitioners (Not Elsewhere Classified) and other similar services."
