There's been a lot of talk about offering telemedicine, especially recently. Here is how to offer telehealth sessions.

It's easy to create telehealth services

Create new services or edit existing services that are telehealth by checking the "is telehealth" checkbox. That's it!

All appointments that are telehealth in nature, now have Video conferencing meetings created for them with unique links. Patients get their notifications for those appointments updated to include buttons allowing them to join the meeting. When you check in the appointment, you can create a meeting for 2 participants, or 3 participants in case a loved one or translator wanted to join the meeting.

Waiting Room

There is a waiting room enabled by default and staff members get to "admit" the participants. Patients will be prompted to sign in prior to joining, but this isn't required.

Sharing Screens

Patients can share their screen to show lab work or anything they choose, and staff may also share their screen as well.

Patient Notifications

Patients get their notifications with the updated buttons to join the meeting, and they can join with any device, including a smart phone or tablet. They will be using the browser of their device; no separate application is required. When they join, they may be asked to give Acubliss permission to use the microphone and camera.

Telemedicine Availability

Like any other services you offer, you'll need to set when you'd like to offer telemedicine visits. On the schedule, hit the "availability" button and choose which days of the week you'll offer telemedicine services. Check off the checkbox next to the telehealth service in the availability blocks as you see fit.

When they are waiting before joining the meeting, they will be shown a preview screen.

That's it! It's easy to create and run telehealth services from your clinic.
