AcuBliss now uses a dedicated AI add-on to help cover the cost of AI Scribe and AI Summaries. Here's why we made the change, and how it works for you.
1. Two things changed: usage grew, and so did what we pay per use Since launch, we’ve paid 100% of the AI processing costs behind AI Scribe and AI Summaries ourselves. That worked when usage was smaller — but as these tools became part of daily practice for so many of you, usage grew fast. At the same time, the AI vendors we rely on raised what they charge us per transcription and summary. Both of those together are what’s driving this change.
2. Usage has grown, and so has the cost
These tools have become part of how so many of you practice every day. As adoption climbed, we saw a real spike in usage — and that spike brought a matching spike in cost on our end. In a recent month, providers have used the AI Scribe 12,000 times which is super exciting and also crazy expensive.
3. The add-on keeps these tools around for the long run
To keep offering AI Scribe and AI Summaries going forward, we need some help covering that cost. That's what the AI add-on is for — it makes this sustainable.
Our Commitment to Affordability
We’ve kept AcuBliss’s core subscription price the same through this. Rather than spread this AI cost across every practice’s bill — including practices that don’t use AI at all — we’ve isolated it into its own add-on. We’re owned and run by acupuncturists, and that’s the same reason we’re handling this the way we are ✨
What This Means for You
You don't need to do anything to keep using AI Scribe and AI Summaries right away.
Free credits, so you don’t lose momentum: Every provider gets a one-time credit of 30 free AI Scribe transcriptions, and every practice gets 50 free AI Summaries. These credits do not expire.
Use them without activating anything: You can use your credits without turning anything on and without being charged.
Keep going beyond your credits: If you'd like to continue using AI Scribe and AI Summaries after your credits run out, you can activate Unlimited AI for $15/month per provider — about the cost of two or three coffees.
💡 Important: You're never charged automatically. Activating Unlimited AI is entirely your choice, and using your free credits costs nothing.
